Changes further the development, depth and dedication the company built in its first 75 years

Euclid, Oh., August 6, 2019 – Radix Wire and Cable products have been used to power your household range and industrial equipment – and to help save lives in high-rise buildings. As Radix Wire and Cable celebrates its 75th year of powering people’s lives, the company announces new products, people and programs that enhance the company’s commitment to development of new innovations, depth of knowledge, and dedication to its customers.

2019 Progress Report: Developing the next innovation

Radix is committed to delivering innovative customer solutions and providing cutting-edge products that meet the latest and most stringent regulatory requirements. Among the most significant and sought after innovations in 2019, Radix has launched the following products:

DuraLife Multi-Conductor Dual-Rated CI/CIC: the only multi-conductor dual rated CI/CIC fire-resistive cables that comply with both UL 2916 and CAN/ULC S-139. Certified for free-air applications, these circuit integrity cables are available in 18-12 AWG unshielded, 18-14 AWG shielded, and 4-conductor, 6-conductor, and 8-conductor cost effective constructions under one jacket.

DuraLife Free Air FPLP-CI Shielded: the only true Circuit Integrity Free-Air Cable with an FPLP rating, allowing for conduit-free installation not just in the riser, but plenum space too.

Super J High Voltage Lead Wire: Super J is up to 7 times more abrasion resistant than competitor’s “tough silicone” wire and has superior tear, cracking, abrasion and cut-through resistance. It is compatible with aggressive varnishes. Initially launched in 2018 for the motor gen market, Radix is now expanding Super J into new markets.
