If PFA Teflon* and silicone rubber insulated products both are rated for 250 C continuous duty, what is the difference? How do you determine which is the best material for a given application?
The properties of PFA Teflon are similar to those of FEP Teflon except PFA is rated for 250 C. The properties of 200 C silicone rubber are likewise similar to those of the 250 C rated compounds.
