Composed of flame impervious inorganic materials. APPLICATIONS For use in circuits where the preservation of circuit integrity under severe, high temperature environments is required. Iron, steel, aluminum, glass and petrochemical plants. 450 C continuous temperature rating (UL). 530 C continuous temperature rating (NON-UL). CONSTRUCTION Flexible stranded, 27% nickel coated copper conductors. Reinforced mica insulation tape wraps. Closely woven fiberglass braid conductor jacket, coated with a high temperature abrasion and moisture resistant finish. Flame barrier of reinforced mica tapes. Moisture and fluid barrier of heat sealed PTFE tape. Heavy-duty braided fiberglass jacket with high temperature finish. Optional wire braid armor of stainless steel, nickel plated copper or other suitable material. COMPLIANCE Maintains circuit integrity 2.5 hours under the modified IEEE-383, 210,000 BTU Vertical Flame Test.
