FEATURES Moisture, oil, fluid and abrasion resistant. Compact diameter, lightweight construction. Maintains circuit integrity for 1 hour at 2000 F under MIL-W-25038 Flame Test conditions. Fire resistant, with low smoke properties. APPLICATIONS For use in circuits where the preservation of circuit integrity under abusive, high temperature environments is required. Iron, steel, paper and glass plants. 250 C continuous temperature rating under normal service conditions. 400 C temporary temperature rating for short periods. CONSTRUCTION Flexible stranded, nickel coated copper conductors. Reinforced mica and PTFE insulation tapes. Heat sealed PTFE tape acts as a barrier to moisture and fluids. Closely woven fiberglass braid outer jacket may be colored as required, natural tan is standard. Braid jacket is coated with a high temperature, abrasion and moisture resistant finish. COMPLIANCE Maintains circuit integrity one hour under Flame Test conditions in accordance with MIL-W-25038 at 1093 C (2000 F).
