FEATURES Superior high temperature and oxidation resistance in normal temperatures to 1000 C. Fire resistant. Very low smoke emission when burned. Resistant to many chemicals. Maintains circuit integrity even when exposed to conditions of high ambient temperature and flame. Stainless steel outer braid provides mechanical and additional thermal protection. APPLICATIONS For use in non-flexing applications. Wiring for ovens, kilns and furnaces. Where the normal installation environment includes continuous operating temperatures up to 1000 C and intermittent temperatures approaching 1200 C. CONSTRUCTION Stranded "A" nickel conductor, Class K (18AWG-10AWG) per ASTM B-174 or Class H (8AWG-4AWG) per ASTM B-173. High quality reinforced mica tape. Ceramic fiber braid coated with a high temperature finish. Stainless steel braid overall. COMPLIANCE Passes the IEEE-383 (modified) 210,000 BTU/hr Vertical Cable Tray Flame Test. Passes UL VW-1 Flame Test.
